Addiction

Addiction comes in many forms.

As LGBTQ+ people, we are more likely to experience addictive traits and become addicted to unhealthy behaviours like promiscuity and substance abuse.

Often, addiction is seem as something negative which instils further shame in people.

Instead, it’s important to look at the root cause of your addiction; like trauma, neglect, abandonment.

Understanding where addiction comes from allows us to explore our connection with addiction, and seek support identifying and resolving the root cause of the addiction, than the addiction itself.
